34-year-old man accused of kidnapping 29-year-old woman in Fort Worth

A Fort Worth man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of kidnapping a 29-year-old woman, according to a police report.

Michael McCoy, 34, faces a charge of kidnapping the woman and holding her for three days.

The woman called police and said that the man, whom she called a friend, had held her since Sunday and beaten her with a baseball bat multiple times.

McCoy faces a charge of aggravated kidnapping causing bodily harm. He is being held in the Tarrant County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
