TxDOT announces closures at Loop 1406 and I-10 interchange through weekend – October 30, 2026 (550 KTSA)
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — TxDOT is warning drivers about overnight closures at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange this weekend for bridge-widening work.
The eastbound and westbound Loop 1604 frontage roads, along with the eastbound I-10 mainlanes, will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Friday, October 30, through Monday, November 2, weather permitting.
Drivers will be directed onto frontage roads and U-turns to get around the closures. Truck and oversized vehicles will have a separate detour.
All flyover ramps will remain open. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and allow extra time.
