Ghouls just wanna have fun, and this Halloween weekend, Austin is the place to be!
From frightfully fun festivities to boo-tiful events around town, there’s no shortage of ways to eat, drink, and be scary this weekend!

Meet Cowboy, your new favorite little cowpoke!
Cowboy is an adorable, approximately 10-month-old pup believed to be a Blue Lacy mix, complete with floppy ears, a sweet personality, and even his very own cowboy hat!
Cowboy was rescued from a small shelter near Gonzales, Texas, where he was at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, a foster family stepped in to give him a second chance.

“He found himself on a small shelter’s kill list, which means his time was up. And then his wonderful fosters, the Van Foster family, stepped in to get Cowboy and take him into their home,” Wolf shared.

Since entering foster care, Cowboy has been thriving!
“He gets along with their dogs, and they have some little dogs too,” Wolf explained.
Cowboy has also done well on outings, including a recent trip to a brewery.
“He’s only ten months old, so he’s still learning the ropes,” Wolf said.
With his loving personality and young age, Cowboy could be a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue his training and help him grow.
“He’s very loving, very sweet,” Wolf shared.
