In Cooper Flagg’s rookie season, he was asked to do a lot, not least of all to fill in for future Hall of Famer and fellow Brotherhood member Kyrie Irving.

It took him a little while to settle in, but before long, he emerged as the team’s best player. Former coach Jason Kidd forced him to take on a lot, and that’s paying off now.

Irving finished with 35 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Flagg scored 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

At 34, Irving is on the back end of his career, while Flagg, just 19, won’t even be able to legally drink until 2027.

But Dallas’s Dynamic Duo is building some real chemistry and it’s showing on the court. This is a very fun team to watch.
