SAN ANTONIO – A night out took a violent turn early Sunday morning when someone opened fire on a business near La Cantera, leaving a 34-year-old man wounded.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. in the 17000 block of La Cantera Parkway on the Northwest Side.
Police said a group of people had been kicked out of the business after causing a disturbance.
But instead of leaving quietly, one or more people from the group reportedly went to their vehicles and began firing shots at the business as they drove away.
A 34-year-old man who was standing outside was caught in the gunfire and shot in the lower body. He was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition has not been released.
No arrests have been announced. The investigation is ongoing.
