TEAGUE, Texas — Teague authorities are investigating an airplane crash that happened Thursday evening.Â
The Teague Volunteer Fire Department posted on Facebook at 5:02 p.m., saying that TVFD officials secured the scene and TxDPS officials took over.Â
“On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to the crash of a Cirrus aircraft in a field near FM 1451 in Teague. The pilot and co-pilot successfully ejected after experiencing in-flight issues, prior to the plane impacting the ground. No injuries were reported. The FAA will be leading the investigation,” TxDPS Sergeant Ryan Howard told 6 News.
The Freestone County Office of Emergency Management also addressed the crash.Â
On Facebook, officials said the crash happened just outside of Teague.Â
“We are grateful to report that there were no injuries, and all occupants were able to exit the aircraft safely. Emerrgency crews responded promptly and secured the scene,” Freestone County Office said.Â
According to the post, the incident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Any further questions or inquiries are to be directed toward the FAA.
