Investigators are working to determine what sparked a fire at a west Houston apartment complex on Thursday night.
Houston Fire Department crews were called just after 9:30 p.m. to an apartment building near Elmside Drive and Meadowglen Lane.
According to HFD, the fire is believed to have started outside a first-floor unit before spreading into a second-floor apartment. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames quickly, preventing further damage.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
