Dallas-based Feed the Streetz Outreach is collaborating with Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center for the first time ever to hold its 10th annual Thanksgiving Blessing event on Saturday, Nov. 22, according to a Feed the Streetz news release.
Nonprofit Feed the Streetz has organized the event the last 10 years to provide “blessing bags” to the community, while the MLK, Jr. center has provided Thanksgiving baskets to families in need every year.
The organizations will be passing out baskets and meals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day at 2922 MLK Boulevard, the release said.
Feed the Streetz hopes to expand its reach and positively impact more underserved individuals through this collaboration, according to the release.
