LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) – A 39-year-old nurse practitioner from the Permian Basin is facing multiple criminal charges in Lubbock County after authorities discovered prescription drugs and a blank prescription pad during a traffic stop.
Matthew Price is accused of possessing and peddling prescription drugs.
A Lubbock County Sheriff’s deputy discovered a blank prescription pad and a duffle bag full of pills after pulling Price over for a traffic stop, according to court documents.
The deputy reports Price claimed he had permission from his employer to keep a blank prescription pad, but his boss said that wasn’t true.
Price is now charged with four counts of drug possession and one count of possessing a fraudulent script.
