As the holiday season ramps up, a Dallas nonprofit is adding a playful twist to giving back.
Youth180 has launched a holiday board game drive — now through December 15 — aiming to bring families together through play while supporting emotional wellness.
Unlike a traditional toy drive, the focus is on collecting board games that encourage connection, reduce stress, and give families meaningful ways to spend time together. Organizers say the goal is to offer a simple tool that can strengthen relationships during a time that can feel overwhelming for many.
Youth180 serves teens and families affected by substance use disorders and mental health challenges, issues that continue to rise across North Texas. The organization points to recent data showing increases in adolescent anxiety, depression, and substance use — making programs that build resilience and family support more important than ever.
Volunteers will help wrap and prepare the donations ahead of the holidays.
