On Oct. 18, officers responded to a shooting at 602 E. Commerce after witnesses reported that the suspects started a fight with a group of teens.

During the altercation, one of the men pulled out a gun and began firing toward the teens, killing a bystander who was walking nearby and was not connected to either group, police said.

SAPD said the teens told officers they did not know the suspects, who allegedly approached them and initiated the confrontation.

Anyone with information about the men is asked to call SAPD’s Homicide Unit at 210-207-2457.
