Firefighters spent over two hours putting out a brush fire on Forney Road on Saturday afternoon, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesperson Jason Evans said.
Officials responded to multiple reports of a brush fire about 1 p.m. at 7730 Forney Road.
The fire covered approximately 4 acres, bordered by Forney Road, a strip center, railroad tracks and a parking lot, Evans said.
The fire spread to multiple business suites and caused damages to one business and one vehicle. It also destroyed a storage shed that was located in the parking lot, Evans said.

Around 14 heavy apparatus vehicles, including wildland firefighting units, worked the fire, which took about two hours to bring under control.
The command center coordinated with Union Pacific to have the railroad tracks shut down so firefighters could use them to access the fire, Evans said.
No injuries were reported, and the initial cause of the fire is unknown.
