With a Saturday slate featuring two top 15 conference matchups, Week 12 certainly did not disappoint for the SEC.
Starting in the afternoon, Texas A&M and South Carolina played one of the more memorable games of the season in College Station. The result drew the attention of the college football world. That thrilling comeback was followed by a pair of high-profile top 15 matchups. The first took place in Tuscaloosa; the second occurred in Athens.
Both produced significant results. Here are the latest SEC football power rankings entering Week 13 of the 2025 season, which is the first update in two weeks.
16. Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas’ losing streak was extended to eight consecutive games Saturday with a 23-22 loss at LSU. Despite claiming an early lead, the Razorbacks’ advantage disappeared due to three turnovers and struggles on third down. They still had the edge in the fourth quarter before an LSU score.
The Razorbacks are 2-8 (0-6 SEC) ahead of a road game at Texas.
15. Auburn Tigers
Auburn was one of two SEC teams idle Saturday due to a bye. The Tigers enter a Week 12 game with Mercer at Jordan-Hare Stadium at 4-6 (1-6).
14. South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina suffered what was likely its most disappointing loss of the season Saturday. It fell on the road to Texas A&M, 31-30. The Gamecocks led 30-3 at halftime but were shut out in the second half as part of a shocking collapse. South Carolina lost despite dominating one of the SEC’s top teams in the first half.
As a result, South Carolina (3-7 overall, 1-7 SEC) has lost five straight ahead of a home game against Coastal Carolina.
13. Florida Gators
Florida suffered a third consecutive defeat on Saturday at Ole Miss, 34-24. However, the Gators led 24-20 at halftime in Oxford. They were shut out in the second half. The Gators (3-7, 2-5) return to action Saturday at home against Tennessee.

The Tigers (6-4, 3-4) have a home game against Western Kentucky up next.
9. Missouri Tigers
Led by one of college football’s top performances of Week 12, Missouri defeated Mississippi State, 49-27. Running back Ahmad Hardy rushed for 300 yards and three touchdowns on 25 attempts against the Bulldogs defense. Missouri (7-3, 3-3) will travel to Oklahoma in Week 13 for one of the SEC’s best matchups this Saturday.

3. Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma picked up the biggest win of any SEC team during Week 12, defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa, 23-21. Oklahoma’s offense posted just 212 yards of offense, but capitalized on three big turnovers, one of which was an 87-yard pick six that built a 10-0 lead. The Sooners (8-2, 4-2) next have a big conference contest at home against Missouri.
