SAPD: Search underway for man who shot into Northwest Side restaurant, no injuries reported

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is looking for a man who fired shots into a Northwest Side restaurant Early Sunday morning.

According to KENS 5, it happened at around 2:30 a.m. at Taqueria Datapoint in the 400 block of Medical Drive.

Investigators say the incident began as an argument between a man and a cashier.

At some point, the cashier told the man to leave, but he pulled a gun, then went outside and started firing into the building.

Surveillance video from inside the restaurant shows customers running for cover.

Nobody was hurt and the shooter hasn’t been located.

Police haven’t said why the man was arguing with the employee or why he fired at the restaurant.

The investigation is still underway.
