Fort Worth has long been a city where history and modernity collide — from the Stockyards’ cowboy charm to the sleek lines of its Cultural District museums. Now, The Crescent Hotel adds a new landmark to that blend of tradition and innovation: Conservatory, a 4,270-square-foot event space that opened this Oct. and promises to redefine what private gatherings in Texas can look like.

Designed by OZ Architects, Conservatory combines natural light, technical sophistication, and architectural daring to create a venue as versatile as it is striking. It accommodates up to 400 guests for receptions, 270 for banquet-style dinners, or 350 for wedding ceremonies, delivering the scale of a convention center while maintaining the intimacy of a luxury hotel.

The space’s defining feature is its use of Kalwall daylight panels — translucent composite panels that filter sunlight to museum-quality standards while shielding guests from UV rays. The effect is dramatic yet understated: a minimalistic, luminous environment where live plants thrive and indoor-outdoor boundaries blur seamlessly.

Every element of Conservatory encourages creativity. Strategically placed ceiling rigging points support sweeping LED installations, lighting designs, or immersive experiences, all without obstructing the floor or cluttering the space with cables. Its neutral palette acts as a blank canvas for every vision, from weddings and fundraisers to corporate product launches and curated exhibits.

Situated at 3300 Camp Bowie Boulevard, The Crescent Hotel is more than a hotel — it’s Fort Worth’s social living room, bridging downtown, the Cultural District, and historic neighborhoods. With 200 guest rooms, two restaurants led by Executive Chef Preston Paine, a sophisticated lobby bar, Canyon Ranch Wellness Club, and 14,000 square feet of event space, the property is already a city landmark. Conservatory now adds a luminous, forward-looking chapter to that story.

“Conservatory is not just another event space, but rather a completely new concept in Texas,” said Thomas Becker, managing director at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth. “From its architectural innovation to its experiential possibilities, it offers a level of sophistication, flexibility, and scale that simply does not exist anywhere else in the region.”
