A restaurant, wine bar and food market called Walker’s is set to open on Greenville Avenue in Dallas in spring 2026.
Details are still scant on Walker’s, the new business owned by Dallas siblings Rosemary Greene and Russell Walker. She’s a sommelier and he’s an entrepreneur who has worked in architecture and design. Together, they envision Walker’s as a wine bar, sandwich shop, restaurant and market.
Walker’s will be near Window Seat, a coffee shop on Greenville Avenue. It’ll be neighbors with retail stores Favor the Kind and Earnest John.
Years ago, and a few doors down, this same East Dallas building housed longtime businesses the San Francisco Rose and St. Martin’s Wine Bistro. The Rose was open for more than 40 years until its closure in 2018. St. Martin’s was open for 45 years until it moved to another part of East Dallas. Can you picture the building now, with its green tile roof and tan brick facade?

Examples of menu items at the restaurant weren’t yet available, though it’s expected to serve “elevated European-American cuisine,” according to a publicist. Greene will create the wine list.
“The space features two distinct experiences,” a statement reads. It’ll be a “relaxed neighborhood destination” in the daytime, serving sandwiches and wine. Walker’s turns into a “lively dining room and bar” at night.
More to come.
Walker’s will be at 3016 Greenville Ave., Dallas. It’s expected to open in spring 2026.
