The downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus is set for a life beyond the holiday shopping season — as the future of the store is under review.
“We continue to have productive conversations with the city of Dallas to potentially reimagine the Neiman Marcus Downtown Dallas location,” Saks Global said in a statement. “The store will remain open past the 2025 holiday season while this process continues in 2026.”
The fate of the downtown Neiman Marcus has been in question among North Texans since early this year after it was set to close at the end of March. Yet following weeks of back and forth between the city and business officials and the company, a last-minute lifeline kept it open until the holiday shopping season.
At the time, the company was considering potential ideas for a new future with options that included “a luxury retail experience” along with a curated art exhibition and a fashion and event center.
