Texas Tech University released the 2025 Drug & Alcohol Abuse Prevention Programs Report on Tuesday for all Tech University campuses.

The DAAPP report provides an overview of university policies regarding drug and alcohol use, details on implemented prevention programs and information on services available to students, faculty, and staff, according to an email sent to students on Tuesday afternoon.

On the Tech Institutional Compliance website, students can find information regarding disciplinary sanctions for policy violations, along with resources for drug and alcohol abuse.

In compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act, institutions receiving federal funding must implement programs to prevent drug and alcohol abuse among students and employees.

Any possession, use or distribution of illegal drugs and alcohol remains strictly prohibited in any campus property and university-sponsored events, according to the email.

In the past 60 days, there have been roughly 110 drug-related incidents, according to the Tech University Police Department crime log.
