The Texas A&M University System changed its academic policy to stop professors from advocating for certain race or gender ideology in their courses unless “approved in advance.”

3. Travis County judge declares mistrial in 2022 fatal shooting case of Austin man
A Travis County judge on Monday declared a mistrial after a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict in the deadly conduct trial of Austin Police Department officer Daniel Sanchez.
The case stems from the fatal shooting of Rajan Moonesinghe on the front porch of his Austin home on Nov. 15, 2022.

Cowboys honor Kneeland, then get 4 TD passes from Prescott in 33-16 win over Raiders
The Cowboys spent 11 days mourning defensive end Marshawn Kneeland before taking the field Monday night. Dallas then paid tribute to Kneeland by dominating the spiraling Raiders for 60 minutes.
Dak Prescott passed for 268 yards and four touchdowns in a 33-16 victory over Las Vegas, the Cowboys’ first game since Kneeland’s death.
