SAN ANTONIO — No one loves their city more than San Antonians, a recent survey shows.
According to data from the Gensler Research Institute, San Antonio residents report the highest levels of satisfaction when compared to other U.S. cities. Just over 78% of those who live in the Alamo City reported being “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with their city.
The study was conducted between July 18 to and Nov. 22, 2024, and is based on responses from 13,500 residents across 27 major U.S. cities.
Other Texas cities included in the ranking were Houston at No. 8 (72.1% satisfaction), Austin at No. 10 (71.7%) and Dallas at No. 12.
According to Gensler, the aim of the report is to “help city leaders and developers to shape policies and investments that can directly enhance their city’s quality of life.”
