DUBLIN, Texas (KCBD) – The No. 4 Lubbock Titans (6-6) punched their ticket back to state with a 66-28 statement win over the WILCO Falcons.
With a 2-0 lead in the first, Cole Kramedjian handed off to Lane Steele, who punched in the first score of the night there on the goal line, giving the Titans a 10-0 lead. Minutes later, Lubbock’s Jonah Taylor would come up with a clutch interception, giving the ball back to the Titans. With a 10-8 lead, Kramedjian tossed the ball to Hunter Zavala, who then connected with Steele as the Titans stayed in front.
Next week, the Titans face No. 1 Lantana Harvest Christian (11-0) in a playoff rematch from last year. The game kicks off 1:30 p.m. at San Marcos Academy in San Marcos, TX.
