ABILENE, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock-Cooper Pirates’ season ended Friday afternoon with a 55-13 loss to Prosper Walnut Grove.
LCP took a 6-0 lead QB Ryan Rodriguez ran a keeper into the end zone. The Wildcats tied the game when RB Cam Newton scored from five yards out. After LCP fumbled on its own 7yd line, Walnut Grove capitalized with another 5 yd score from Newton.
Lubbock-Cooper finishes the year with a 7-5 overall record.
