One of Texas football‘s top defenders will remain on the sidelines during Saturday’s game against Arkansas.
Texas junior linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. has been ruled out against the Razorbacks. Hill reportedly suffered a hand injury during last week’s game at Georgia, and his status had been in question throughout this week. However, No. 17 Texas (7-3, 4-2) ruled him out before Saturday’s kickoff.
Hill was the only name listed on UT’s half of the pregame availability report. Arkansas (2-8, 0-6) has ruled out 11 players.
This will be the first game that the 6-foot-3, 238-pound Hill has missed in his Texas career.
