Plano City Hall on Monday will consider — and could vote on — the purchase of new stun guns for the police department. The council will also discuss purchasing four Flock license plate reader cameras, though no vote is scheduled on that item.

The topic of the Flock cameras has been kicked around by the city council for a few meetings and was sent back to the Committee of the Whole for more discussion after concerns were raised about privacy and camera placement.

The Plano City Council meets Monday night at 6 p.m. at Plano City Hall, 17 E. Main Street. The Committee of the Whole meeting will follow immediately afterward.

Also on Monday’s agenda are votes on bills totaling about $621,000, a façade grant agreement, and the reduction of a liquor license.
