Manning became the first Longhorns quarterback to throw for a touchdown, rush for a touchdown and catch a touchdown pass in a single game.

He completed 18 of his 30 pass attempts for a career-high 389 yards and four touchdowns.

The Longhorns had great success throwing the deep ball against an overmatched Arkansas secondary. DeAndre Moore Jr. caught a 46-yard touchdown pass to open the scoring for Texas. Parker Livingstone caught a 54-yard touchdown pass over the top and added another 50-yard reception, too.

Manning’s best play of the night might have been a third-quarter touchdown pass to Moore, in which he backpedaled out of trouble and found Moore eight yards downfield in the end zone.

He left the game for backup Matthew Caldwell with roughly four minutes on the clock.
