FORT WORTH – Traunsa Darlene Parten, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, cousin, great-aunt, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025, after a courageous fight. She was surrounded by those who cherished and loved her. Traunsa was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 16, 1965, to Acera Jean Parten and Robert Marshall Parten. She lived her life appreciative of everything and everyone. Her life was defined by giving unconditional love. Traunsa radiated kindness and had unwavering faith and belief in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From the moment she arrived in this world Traunsa embodied pure compassion and joy. She never met a stranger – only future friends. Her heart was open to all and her gentle spirit touched everyone she encountered. Whether it was a baby she longed to cradle and comfort, a kitten she adored, or a soul in need of comfort, Traunsa responded with tenderness. Her love extended to every living creature, and her empathy was boundless. Traunsa was a devoted Christian, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was deep and sincere. She lived her life with grace, humility, and with a purity of spirit that inspired those around her. Traunsa walked through life with a childlike innocence and a heart full of light, never knowing sin, only love. She was a young lady of quiet talents and made the best of the most simple things in life. Traunsa found peace and fulfillment in crocheting. She would light up like a Christmas tree just working on puzzles and word searches. Her creativity was matched only by thoughtfulness. She remembered birthdays, she noticed when someone was hurting or needed a hug and always offered a kind word. Her compassion and love was not performative; it was instinctive, natural, and constant. Traunsa was preceded in death by her mother, Acera Jean Parten; and her grandparents, Maggie and Joe Parten. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her presence and life was a gift and a blessing. Her absence is deeply felt and the love for her will be everlasting. As Traunsa joined her Savior in heaven, her family takes comfort in knowing that Jesus welcomed her with open arms saying “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.
