The super bowl of giving is here in El Paso and non-profit organizations all over the city are gearing up to raise funds for their organizations! Thursday, October 16, 2025, marks El Paso Giving Day, the region’s biggest online celebration of generosity.
Founded in 2015 by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation, this annual event highlights the incredible work of local nonprofits and inspires a new generation of givers. In just nine years, El Pasoans have raised nearly $11.2 million for over 260 local organizations all while proving that what’s raised here, stays here.
This year’s theme, The Bowl of Giving, celebrates 10 years of giving back, and the community’s shooting for a $2.1 million goal. Whether you’re a seasoned donor or a first-time giver, your $10 can help power the nonprofits that keep our region thriving.
Iris & Grizz In The Morning Are Joining The Giving Day Fun
Me and Grizz are all about supporting local non-profit organizations and this giving day we both are spending our day helping non-profits raise funds!
For me, I’m supporting Mija, Yes You Can, a nonprofit that empowers local women. Through education, mentorship, and community-led programs, ‘Mija, Yes you can’ empowers women and girls from all backgrounds to grow, thrive, and believe: Mija, yes you can. They achieve this empowerment by focusing on their main pillars: Education, Wellness, Mentorship, Development and Philanthropy.
Through the Mija Fund we were able to also create a grant in honor of my grandmother, The Maria Elena Cisneros caregiver Grant. In honor of Maria Elena Cisneros, this grant recognizes compassionate, everyday heroes who care for their loved ones. Families can nominate a caregiver who goes above and beyond to provide love, dignity, and support. This grant offers financial assistance and heartfelt appreciation to those doing the work that often goes unseen but never unnoticed.

For Grizz, it’s ABARA, which focuses on building peace and connection across borders and communities. And together, we’re proud to back NAMI El Paso, an organization dedicated to supporting mental health awareness and resources for all.
There are dozens of other great local non-profit organizations that you can make a donation to and any donation, big or small, will go a long way.
