The Cowboys could be without left tackle Tyler Guyton for their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Guyton suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s win over the Eagles and Nate Thomas will most likely start in his place Thursday, a person with knowledge of the injury told The Dallas Morning News.

Guyton, the Cowboys’ 2024 first-round pick out of Oklahoma, has started in 10 of 11 games this season. He’s started 21 games across two seasons with Dallas.

Thomas, a seventh-round pick in 2024, impressed coaches during the preseason. Earlier this month, head coach Brian Schottenheimer signaled a competition between Thomas and Terence Steele for the starting right tackle spot.
