Texas Tech women’s basketball will face Old Dominion University on Tuesday at the Comerica Center in Frisco for its first game of the Hoopfest Women’s Basketball Challenge.

The four-day series will feature nine teams, and each will play two games. Auburn University and the University of Texas at San Antonio opened up the series at 11 a.m. Monday.

Tech is coming off its first road win of the season after defeating the University of New Mexico 82-57 on Sunday. The win was Tech’s fourth double-digit win of the season, according to Tech Athletics.

Old Dominion is 5-1, with its sole loss coming from its first game on Nov. 3 against the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 58-52.

The Monarchs have won four of their six games by seven points or fewer. The two outliers are their sole loss and 106-32 win against Elizabeth City State University, according to ODU Athletics.

Following its game against Old Dominion, Tech will play the University of North Texas at 2 p.m. Thursday.
