The Dallas Stars are blending old and new with the release of a third jersey.
The Hockey team announced the new jersey in several social media posts on Tuesday.
The ’99 pays respect to the team’s 1999 Stanley Cup win, with “3OT 1999” featured on the inside of the collar.
Legacy logos, inspired by the Stars’ late 1990s and early 2000s jerseys, are also reinterpreted with the team’s current Victory green colors.
The jersey will be available for purchase at Friday’s home game inside the American Airlines Center. Fans will also be able to purchase the new jersey at both the Frisco and PNC Plaza Hangar Hockey locations or online.
