A vehicle fire on Interstate 20 in Grand Prairie early Thursday has impacted traffic in both directions.

The vehicle reportedly caught fire on Interstate 20 near Carrier Parkway at about 5:10 a.m., closing four westbound traffic lanes, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Three eastbound lanes have also been closed.

At this time, Grand Prairie officials have not released information on injuries or what caused the fire to The Dallas Morning News.
