Texas authorities hunt for violent parolee linked to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is searching for a wanted parolee with ties to San Antonio.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jon Michael Torres.

According to TDCJ, Torres is wanted for failing to comply with his supervision.

State officials say he previously lived in San Antonio, and investigators believe he may still be in the area.

Authorities also warn that Torres has violent tendencies.
