CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Join the Corpus Christi IceRays in spreading warm hearts and full bellies by combating the hunger off the ice in the Coastal Bend.
Ticket Sales & Service Account Executive at Corpus Christi IceRays Lorenzo Buitron says you can score a free ticket to the see the IceRays this weekend by donating canned goods.
“It’s going to be 5 canned goods, non-perishables, which is part of a partnership we have with our friends at HEB. In return, we’re going to donate those to the Coastal Bend Food Bank. So we’re trying to give back, but yeah, 5 non-perishables and you get a free ticket for Saturday or Friday’s game,” says Buitron.
Hometown star and Cincinnati Reds catcher Jose Trevino is celebrating his birthday IceRays-style as part of Ice Out Hunger on Friday, Nov. 28. A pre-game meet and greet begins the moment doors open. Fans can snap a photo with Jose at the Hilliard Law Photo Booth.
The IceRays are scheduled to play the New Mexico Ice Wolves this upcoming weekend, November 28th and 29th. Both games are home games at the Hilliard Center, with puck drop at 7:05 p.m., $1 beer night.
