Dallas police plan to release more information and body-worn camera footage Wednesday from a downtown shooting that left two dead earlier this week, including the suspect.

When police arrived early Monday morning at the parking lot of the Hyde and Seek Club in the 2000 block of Commerce Street, they said multiple people had been shot.

While there, police said the officers confronted an armed suspect — and fatally shot them. They did not clarify how many people were injured or taken to the hospital.

Kedric L. McDonald, 31, died about 2:10 a.m., according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office. It was not immediately clear if McDonald was killed by officers or the suspect.
