AUSTIN, TX – ShantiNiketan, a leading developer of culturally specific senior living communities, is launching its unique model near Austin to serve the growing needs of the Indian American community. Following the success of its existing Florida campuses, the new community is meticulously designed to meet the distinct cultural, social, and dietary preferences of Indian seniors, addressing challenges like social isolation and the need for a familiar environment during retirement.

The upcoming campus is founded on the principles of wellness, culture, and community. Residents will benefit from a lifestyle where Indian traditions blend seamlessly with modern amenities, developers of the project said.

A highly valued feature will be the freshly prepared vegetarian Indian meals served daily. Campus facilities are planned to support holistic well-being—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and will include spaces for yoga, meditation, fitness rooms, a community temple, and organized cultural events like satsangs and group trips.

Due to anticipated demand and ShantiNiketan’s established reputation, availability is highly limited; only 35 residences will be offered in the project’s initial phase. Iggy Ignatius, Founder and Chairman of ShantiNiketan, affirmed the mission, stating: “Our goal is to recreate that same sense of family, familiarity, and joy for Indian seniors in Texas that we have successfully established in Florida.”

Interested families are invited to an in-person information and booking session on November 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Chinmaya Mission Austin. The session will provide detailed insights into architectural plans, amenities, eligibility, and pricing.

Speakers, including Ignatius, Prateek Sharma, and Hari Kuppuraj, will discuss community life and booking timelines. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and secure their place early. For details, visit www.ShantiNiketanTX.com or call 512-201-5328.
