After losing weight, I rarely indulge in sweet treats anymore, despite them being my absolute favorite. I’m a recovering expert on all things sugar. However, there are times I “budget” for a treat, so you can bet it’s going to be something exceptional.
Lubbock’s Source For Fresh Chocolate
Since I am unwilling to compromise on quality when I want chocolate, I usually find myself at Chickie’s Tasty Treats (4930 S Loop 289 STE 205). Lubbock Agrees With Me
I posted my hot chocolate on LBK Foodies, with the comment that I am now ruined for all other hot chocolate. The people agreed with me:
RIGHT? Me too! RUINED! I’m RUINED!
Agreed it’s very good!Â
…and there were many comments from folks ready to try it. It makes me so incredibly happy that Lubbock supports small businesses and that our small businesses deserve the love.
And beyond the decadence, the expertise, the freshness, and everything else that makes it wonderful- that IS the secret ingredient. The love and care you can taste in every warm, sweet sip.
