LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – Holiday travelers are making their way throughout the United States Wednesday, with many using the East Texas Regional Airport to see loved ones this Thanksgiving.
As traffic picks up in airports and roadways, some travelers are using the local Longview airport to beat large crowds and receive small-town hospitality.
Some East Texans are even renting cars from the Longview airport instead of flying, to avoid the chance of a flight being canceled or delayed.
While some travelers are set to return home from the holiday on Sunday, others are waiting until Monday to save money and avoid large crowds.
