October has arrived and so has a new batch of most wanted gang fugitives in Lubbock County. Along with your help,
Lubbock area law enforcement agencies will be able to apprehend those who are wanted and make our streets safer.
Authorities need your help in locating the top ten list below. These are considered some of the most dangerous criminals and gang members in Lubbock County.
Gangs in Lubbock and the West Texas Anti-Gang Unit
The West Texas Anti-Gang Unit is busy cleaning up the streets of Lubbock by targeting gangs and organized crime. And they are doing a great job. But law enforcement in our area needs your help to help locate these dangerous criminals. One of the ways you can help is by paying attention to the Top Ten list released by the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department and the West Texas Anti-Gang Unit. The West Texas Anti-Gang Unit and the site StopLubbockGangs.org, is an multi-agency organization including the Lubbock Sheriff’s Department, the DOJ, Homeland Security, Lubbock Police, and other organizations that work together to stop the gang threat in our area.
New Fugitives Added in October in Lubbock
Three fugitives from last month’s list were caught, which means three new names made the full Top Ten list which you can see below.
Gangs Are Present and Active in West Texas
Stop Lubbock Gangs, the multi-jurisdictional website that is supported by local, state, and federal agencies has updated the Most Wanted Fugitives in Lubbock County. The website was created due to the growth of gang membership both nationally and locally. Law enforcement partners hope the site can be used as a preventative measure and way to let residents report tips and thwart crime. On the site, you can submit tips, learn about the threat of gangs in our area, and learn more about the Texas Anti-Gang Center of West Texas.
