We’re waking up to cool, crisp and seasonable morning lows in the 40s for Thanksgiving. And you’ll feel the difference; it’s a 18-20 drop from our morning lows last week.

Black Friday will bring great deals in the store and seasonable temperatures outside, too. Plus, we’re tracking dry conditions -which means our roadways will be a little safer despite the extra holiday traffic as shoppers hunt for the perfect deals. But you’ll want to bundle up because our morning lows will be in the 40s until 9 am.

No 80s as fall finally sticks around in SE TexasConfirmed Tornadoes in NW Harris County Monday:

Tornado Aftermath: The NWS has now confirmed two tornadoes ripped through Riata Ranch and the Klein/Spring areas yesterday—destroying homes and cars as fallen power lines sparked house fires.

– An EF1 tornado ripped through Riata Ranch/Northwest Harris County west of 249 with peak winds of 105 mph

– A stronger EF2 tornado slammed the Klein/Spring area along the Grand Parkway with winds up to 115 mph

Both carved miles of destruction Monday afternoon. Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
