HOUSTON – A child was pronounced dead after allegedly getting struck by a vehicle in Houston’s South Park area.

The accident was reported at about 11:30 a.m. on Willow Glen Drive off Bellfort Avenue and Jutland Road.
Houston Fire officials tell FOX 26 that the accident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
A child believed to have been seven years old was pronounced deceased.
