Happy Thursday,

Run for cover! A killer flock is swooping down for the attack in a new thrilling Fort Worth play opening this weekend at Amphibian Stage.

“The Birds” tells the story of three strangers seeking shelter in an abandoned home. But, they quickly realize the biggest threat might not be coming from outside.

The play is based on Daphne du Maurier’s story, which served as the inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock’s famous 1963 film. This stage adaptation stands on its own from its predecessors.

I attended the cast’s final dress rehearsal Tuesday night and can attest this is an intimate and thrilling show perfect for the spooky season. There are jaw-dropping moments you don’t want to miss.
