FIRST QUARTER
Arch Manning connected with Emmett Mosley V on third down to give Texas the first first down of the contest. The drive stalled with incompletions after that, and the Longhorns had to punt.
The punt landed at the A&M 7-yard-line, but Marcel Reed got the Aggies a first down with a short completion to Mario Craver. Reed failed to connect with Craver on the next third down, and the Aggies punted it right back.
A short punt set the Longhorns up at their own 36-yard-line to start their second drive.
