LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – ECHO West Texas will host the Gingerbread Festival on December 16 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Lubbock Civic Center.
The event benefits ECHO West Texas, a local nonprofit that serves as a coordinated system of care for families experiencing homelessness. Every ticket purchased directly supports their mission and helps provide resources for more families this holiday season
The family-friendly event will feature a gingerbread house competition where local businesses compete to be judged by local celebrities. Other activities include pancakes with Santa, a holiday market with local small business vendors, photos and festive décor throughout the venue, giveaways and raffles, and special appearances with fun activities for all ages.
Three ticket types are available. The Santa’s Workshop Ticket costs $50 and includes full entry plus a gingerbread house kit and access to the candy and decorating bar. Pancakes with Santa tickets cost $20 and include a meal with Santa and full access to watch the competition and shop the marketplace. The Festival Market Pass costs $5 and provides access to shop and enjoy the holiday market.
