LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After one of the most-dominant regular seasons in program history, the No. 5 Texas Tech Red Raiders (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) are now officially in the Big 12 Championship game Saturday, Dec. 6.
No. 20 Arizona State’s 23-7 loss at home to No. 25 Arizona Friday night punched the ticket for both Texas Tech and No. 11 BYU (10-1, 7-1 Big 12). The Red Raiders beat BYU Nov. 8 29-7 in front of a striped-out crowd, which was a part of ESPN’s College GameDay.
With the pressure now off, the Red Raiders will take on 4-7 West Virginia 11 a.m. CT Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, W.V. Next week’s Big 12 Championship Game is also set for 11 a.m., at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
