FORT WORTH – Robert Paul Berrones, 43, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. Funeral service: 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Robert worked in construction, framing patios for DFW homes. On his off time, he was an amazing disk golf player, having picked it up just for fun, it soon became huge part of his life. He would end up making many good friends that became extended family all their own. He loved working on cars, driving modified cars even more, and graduated LTI with automotive mechanics degree. He knew how to play drums and guitar, along with his brother Thomas, who taught him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Jewell Key, Manuel and Inez Berrones. Robert leaves behind his mother, K Key-Masten; step-father, Larry Masten; father, Ernest Berrones; brother, Thomas K. Berrones; aunts and uncles, Steven and wife, Nancy Berrones, Oscar Berrones, Danny Berrones, Olivia Berrones, Omar and wife, Maribel Berrones; sister-in-law, Catherine and husband, Chris Pickler and children. Along with cousins, great-cousins and extended family. Pallbearers: Thomas Berrones, David Berrones, Jake Holder, Jesse Randall, Jacob Berrones and James Berrones.
