Editor’s note: The featured horse may be adopted by the time you reach out, but there are always many more waiting to meet you through HSNT. Please visit HSNT | Equine & Livestock Ranch to learn more!

At the Humane Society of North Texas, adoption is about changing lives, one match at a time. Learn more about adoptions at HSNT’s Fort Worth and Keller locations, or at off-site adoption events held six days a week at HSNT.org.

At the Humane Society of North Texas, adoption is about more than bringing an animal home, it’s about giving them the safe, joyful life they deserve. That mission extends beyond cats and dogs to the horses and ponies cared for at the HSNT Equine Ranch in Joshua — the only ranch in North Texas dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses.

This week’s featured resident is Jenny, an Arabian/Saddlebred cross mare with a presence as graceful as her personality. Standing 14.3 hands tall, she carries herself with elegance but wins hearts with her sweetness. Jenny is affectionate, well-mannered, and happiest in the company of people who will shower her with attention.

She’s also a mare who benefits from a mindful lifestyle. Jenny thrives with thoughtful management and a consistent routine that keeps her comfortable. In return, she offers companionship, warmth, and the kind of quiet bond horse lovers treasure.

Like all horses at HSNT’s Equine Ranch, Jenny is up-to-date on shots, Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia, dental care and farrier work, and she is microchipped. Her age is an estimate, but one thing is certain: Jenny is ready to step into the next chapter of her life with the right family by her side.

Jenny is available for adoption now.
