CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Operation Heat Help is back as winter approaches, offering financial assistance to eligible residents for their gas bills.
The Corpus Christi Gas Department and the Utility Business Office are now accepting applications to assist households with up to $100 per household for the gas portion of their utility bills from November 2025 through February 27, 2026.
“Operation Heat Help provides a crucial safety net for our customers,” said Bill Mahaffey, Director of Gas Operations. “It helps residents stay warm without added financial stress.”
To qualify, applicants must meet income guidelines and be the primary account holder. You must provide a current utility bill, identification for all household members, and proof of income from the past 30 days. You have until Friday, February 27, 2026, to apply.
