Texas football saw a modest bump in the national polls following a home upset over Texas A&M.
The Longhorns entered the week at No. 16 and rose to No. 14 in both the AP Top 25 and US LBM Coaches Poll. They passed Utah and now await the College Football Rankings on Tuesday.
The win over No. 3-ranked A&M was a boost to Texas’ slim CFP hopes. The Horns were ranked 17th by that selection committee coming into Saturday’s game.
