Families and community members will have the chance to share their feedback about potential school closures and consolidations in Corpus Christi ISD in December and January.

Here are some of the options that are being discussed for the 2026-27 school year:

The district has also shared a list of frequently asked questions online at ccisd.us. Community members can also share feedback with the district via text at 361-600-3691 and via email at ccisd.tx@k12-lets-talk.com.
Reasons for the potential closures include the district’s budget deficit. For several years, costs have been higher than revenues at Corpus Christi ISD. At the same time, the district is facing dropping enrollments, particularly in some areas of town.
