A police officer in Little Elm, Texas, found himself handling an unusual “suspect” on Tuesday, November 25, when he helped capture a loose goat wandering along a busy road. Bodycam footage released by the Little Elm Police Department shows the officer gently detaining the goat and guiding it into the back of a patrol car. Adding levity to the situation, the officer playfully read the goat its Miranda rights, saying, “You have the right to remain silent… Any statements you make may be used against you in court,” before ending with, “Give me a baa.” The goat, however, appeared unfazed by the formalities.
